Addendum:
At the meeting there were concerns expressed that the current tenants are not paying the rent for some items, we can confirm that as stated by the Secretary at the meeting, the lease of the commercial kitchen, rent, and bond have been paid in full. In accordance with industry standards, the loose furniture remains in the ownership of SCPS as it isn’t economically viable for a tenant with a short-term Tenancy at Will to make this purchase. The appointed long-term tenant will be expected to purchase the loose furniture from SCPS in due course.
Therefore, we would like to apologise to Tippling House for any misleading comments. As stated at the meeting SPCS are very grateful to Tippling House for stepping in and ensuring that the pub stays open whilst we seek a permanent tenant.
